_nascar headcovers
2025 // srixon golf
Project summary:
Srixon came to me to create a teaser animation for their limited edition NASCAR headcover. They mentioned wanting checkered flags, spinning tires, smoke, and the headcover itself featured—and then gave us full creative freedom.
I took that and ran with it.
What I delivered was a high-octane, moody, cinematic teaser that both teams were fired up about. This one had it all: cloth simulations, tire smoke, aggressive camera moves, sleek lighting, and photo-real renders—all packed into a 20-second adrenaline hit.
The best part? I didn’t even have a 3D model of the headcover. I pulled it off using just a 2D rendering—proof that with the right execution, you don’t always need a CAD file to make a killer 3D animation.
Needless to say… we cooked on this one. The final piece was used to promote the drop across social and digital platforms, and gave the launch a bold, unexpected look that stood out in Srixon’s feed.
