_black chrome irons

2025 // srixon golf

Project summary:

Srixon Golf challenged me to introduce the ZXi Black Chrome Irons with a bang, literally.

The goal was to create a high-energy, cinematic teaser that visualized the transition from the classic silver finish to the aggressive, stealthy aesthetic of the Black Out series.

They needed a social-first piece that felt "heavy," tactile, and impossible to scroll past.

What I made:

I built a dark, moody world to let the club shine. Think deep blacks, subtle greys, razor-sharp highlights, and controlled movement that creates tension and energy without ever overshadowing the product.

  • Fully simulated particles

  • Key design features — face milling, geometry, materials, and aerodynamic shaping

  • Cinematic close-ups that feel tactile and intentional

  • Photorealistic 3D visuals (lighting, texturing, and rendering)

  • Smooth rotational motion to reveal contours and engineering details

  • Minimalist backgrounds that keep focus locked on the club

  • Dynamic camera moves, transitions and edit

  • Custom sound design and Foley

All elements were crafted in Cinema 4D, Redshift, and After Effects (#noaislop). he final result is a gritty yet polished look at a limited-edition product.

Deliverables:

  • A 20-second "Stop-the-Scroll" spot optimized for Instagram

  • Vertical (9:16), Wide (16:9), and Square (1:1) crops for maximum social reach

Role:

  • Art Direction: Visual style development and creative oversight.

  • CAD Asset Prep: File preparation and custom photoreal texturing.

  • 3D Design: Scene set-up and cinematic lighting.

  • 3D Animation: Camera movement, product animation, and shot transitions.

  • Rendering & Post: Processing the 3D animation, final edit, compositing, and sound design.
